Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our product development team. This role will be responsible for establishing test procedures and coordinating testing of products under development or in production.

  • Coordinate and perform tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.

  • Gather and study information regarding materials and components to be used in production.

  • Draft proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outline specific testing conditions to be applied.

  • Test new products; develop systems to gather digital data during testing.

  • Study data gathered during testing and evaluate the validity of results.

  • Identify any problems with new products; make adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems.

  • Continue testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.

  • Draft detailed technical reports to present findings; recommend modifications needed to correct production problems.

  • Develop ongoing quality control testing procedures to incorporate into regular production process.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Find innovative methods to save time and money while maintaining effectiveness of quality.

Education and/or Experience

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or minimum of two years of working experience as Test Engineer.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to discuss product flaws in constructive and positive manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Moderate knowledge of scripting/configuring using C++, Python, XML, CMD, etc.

  • Strong architecture knowledge of general computing devices.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.

    Compensation and Benefits

    ">

    Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

    ">

    This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
