Internal Audit Expert

We are seeking an Internal Audit Expert to join our team at LendingClub. As a seasoned professional with 1-2 years of experience in internal audit or a related field, you will bring your expertise to help us evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Auditor who can adapt easily to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for developing relationships with business and technology partners, executing audits in accordance with standards and expectations, and drafting impactful written internal audit findings.
- Develop relationships with business and technology partners to drive collaboration and ensure effective communication.
- Execute audits in accordance with standards and expectations set forth in the Internal Audit Charter, Manual and Methodology.
- Draft business process flowcharts and/or narratives to clearly articulate findings and recommend mitigation strategies.
You will have the opportunity to implement data analytics techniques where appropriate, monitor issue remediation progress, and validate final remediation actions. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels will be essential in this role.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-2 years of Internal Audit or related experience, and a bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and experience evaluating the design, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance of processes and controls within a bank, broker-dealer, or related financial institution.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold one or more of the following certifications: CIA, CISA, CPA, CAMS, or CRCM.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize work, exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices, and apply learned techniques to solve problems.
LendingClub offers a competitive salary range of $66,000-$100,000 per year, based on experience level and location. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (based on company performance, employee performance, and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits.
