Cardiac Telemetry Nurse with a Focus on Patient Education

Our 38-bed Cardiovascular unit at Butterworth Hospital specializes in caring for adult patients with Heart Failure, cardiac dysrhythmias, newly implanted pacemakers and defibrillators, LVAD readmits, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac conditions requiring medical treatment. We provide continuous telemetry monitoring, and our care is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain a robust skill set, including bipap, respiratory management, pulmonary hypertension treatments, management of multiple IV drips, heart failure management, and telemetry monitoring. You will be part of a team that values teamwork and support, working closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide optimal care in the inpatient setting.

Your Role in Our Team
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Cardiac Care Unit, you will utilize the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. You will partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in planning your plan of care and develop teaching strategies for patient/family; documents education and learning appropriately in health records.
