Job Description

At GABLETEK, we are seeking a skilled GM Robotics Engineer to join our team. This technical role involves setting up, programming, and diagnosing robots with vision.

We require a minimum of 4 years of experience and advanced technical knowledge backed by certifications.

  • This position requires skills in programming, troubleshooting, machine vision, tooling, industrial electronics, and professionalism.

GMS GRS certificate is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical savvy and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The GM Robotics Engineer will be responsible for working offline in Roboguide and may need to work overtime. Reliable transportation is a must, and the ability to travel is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Robot mastering, TCP verification, and payload setup.
  • Downloading OLP's and configuring robot I/O.
  • Communication set up with PLC and peripheral equipment.
  • Reducing cycle time and continuously improving processes.
  • Setting up and adjusting robot zones and dress packs.
  • Experience with pedestal applications and material handlers.
Requirements:
  • GRS certification is required.
  • Vision experience is necessary.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.

This position requires standing for long periods and climbing ladders. The employee must also be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
