CBW Technical Program Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Analyst to join our team at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA). This role will provide expert support services to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Research and Development Chemical Biological Department.
The selected candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on projects, providing research and development analysis to inform design, operational coordination, and Warfighter engagement events. They will also analyze complex problems, develop solutions using problem-solving techniques, and collaborate with other divisions to guide and inform technology identification and validation.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide R&D analysis to inform design of, operational coordination of, and advisement of Warfighter engagement events;
- Analyze and synthesize complex problems and develop solutions using problem-solving techniques;
- Collaborate with other Chemical Biological Divisions to guide and inform technology identification and validation;
- Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) that represent central ideas, operational approaches, and required capabilities for joint concepts evaluation and development;
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in international relations or national security;
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience;
- Ability to break down complex unstructured problems, lay out objective approaches, and develop solutions;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
- Familiarity with military operations and planning;
- Understanding of Chemical and Biological Defense Programs;
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
Prioritization of tasks and meeting deadlines is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
