**About the Job**

The Director, Corporate Partnerships at United Way of the Bluegrass Inc. is responsible for growing and strengthening relationships with corporations and employee market segments within those organizations.

This role requires a leader who can build strong, mutually beneficial relationships and create opportunities to expand the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and individuals within the portfolio.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities and increase revenue through workplace giving campaigns.
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue and achieve division goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on corporate partnerships and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business development and sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or work experience equivalent required.
  • 5 years of consultative sales or fundraising experience in either for-profit or non-profit entities required.
  • 3-5 years of management experience required.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to increase revenue through implemented strategies and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to demonstrate highly developed communication, organization and planning skills.
  • Developed technical and analytical skills related to fund development Entrepreneurial and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to present information and data in written, electronic and oral forms.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have the use of a reliable vehicle for transportation to outside meetings.
  • Experience with CRM (Andar preferred).
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse set of individuals.
  • High energy, personal initiative, and passion for the mission of UWBG.
  • Operates effectively as a highly self-motivated independent contributor, as well as a team-player collaborating as a member of cross-functional teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and to work evenings and weekends on occasion.

Salary Range:$58,000-$63,500 annually.

Location:Louisville, KY or remote work options available.
