Job Description

At Allegion, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Stanley Access Technologies team in Farmington, CT. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing support to our organization to enable development, engagement, and support for our assigned businesses, as well as general support to our HR team members and leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all processes related to HR policies for assigned client groups, including Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Referrals, etc.
  2. Manage Leave of Absence and ADA processes for assigned client groups and partner closely with Benefits team.
  3. Provide Talent Acquisition support, including full ownership for Non-Exempt recruitment, assistance with Exempt recruitment, and onboarding support for all hires at both manufacturing sites.
  4. Build relationships with community partners, area high schools, career centers, and universities to create talent pipelines.
  5. Work with team to proactively develop solutions to support business strategy and establish and maintain productive internal and external working relationships.
  6. Coach leaders and employees on Workday employee self-service and manager self-service functionality.
  7. Lead and support employee-facing processes, including Payroll, Leave of Absence, Employee Uniforms, Benefits, etc.
  8. Support engagement strategies through employee and leader coaching.
  9. Create and maintain reports to support client groups, including data integrity.
  10. Identify opportunities for HR Process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, including talent acquisition and management, benefits, employee relations, change management, local and federal law knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred), Organizational Leadership, Management, Finance, Communications, or other related field.
  • Strong technological skills, including HRIS experience (Workday, UKG, Kronos) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with and influence leaders and employees.
  • Experience and proven ability in managing dashboards and analyzing data.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge and experience with employment law.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, manage conflict, influence, multi-task, and manage change.
