Job Description

This full-time opportunity is available for the 2024-2025 school year, where you will work with high school aged students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily services, including direct, small group sessions, and push-in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills
  • Determining eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identifying necessary classroom accommodations
  • Providing appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students
  • Navigating the dismissal process for students who are no longer eligible for speech and language services
  • Participating in team meetings for the development of students' individualized education programs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with all ages
  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • A valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
  • A valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
