Job Summary

About the Position

This full-time position involves working 37.5 hours per week, with shifts consisting of 8 hours a day. The ideal candidate should be comfortable adapting to changing situations and priorities, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and maintaining a patient and empathetic demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness in students' communication skills
* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant laws and regulations
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research-based methods

Requirements

* Master's degree or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from an accredited institution
* Current state licensure and certification as required by the location of employment
* Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
* Proficiency in using technology, including electronic medical records and communication tools
