Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Manager to join our team at Lennar Homes. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of land development, from site clearing to finished home sites and tract final acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of land development, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to gain approvals of improvement plans, final plats, and permits.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Project construction schedules, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement solutions to day-to-day land development operational issues, ensuring minimal construction extras.
  • Provide input on site engineering plan development to ensure efficient infrastructure design and adherence to Lennar standards.
  • Perform bond exoneration for final tract acceptance, including coordination of punch lists, site walks, and execution of punch list items.
  • Ensure compliance with air quality regulations, state general construction permits, construction storm water pollution prevention plans, and best management practices.
  • Assist in the development, preparation, implementation, and updating of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) when applicable.
Requirements
  • Four (4) years of related experience in land development management, civil engineering design, or estimator experience with heavy civil construction.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in the field and troubleshoot issues.
