Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician Educator to join our team at South Suburban College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the pharmacy technician program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement instructional strategies to teach pharmacy technician courses
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Maintain accurate student records and attendance

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy technician education and current knowledge in the field
  • Adherence to state regulations for licensure or registration to practice as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
  • Faculty members who are pharmacy technicians must maintain national certification
  • Teaching experience in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Mathematics, and Pharmacy Operations
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree and community college teaching experience
