About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Medicorp, Inc. dba Physician Empire in Winston-Salem, NC.

Job Overview

This is a general GI position with no requirement for advanced procedures. The successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of their time in the office and 30% in the endoscopy unit.

Work Environment

The endoscopy center is equipped with top-of-the-line Olympus scopes and equipment, and support staff are available to assist with procedures. Inpatient consults are conducted at two local facilities, including a 500-bed not-for-profit hospital across the street from the office.

A competitive compensation package is being offered, with partnership opportunities available after the first full fiscal year of employment. Shareholder compensation is production-based, with a formula that rewards high-performing physicians.

Requirements
  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Location

Our practice is located in Winston-Salem, NC, approximately 30 minutes from Winston-Salem and an hour from Durham. The airport offers over 60 direct flights to major cities in the East, South, and Midwest.

The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
