Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Louis Allis LLC in the Memphis, TN area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the key financial activities of our organization, including preparation of financial statements, operational analysis, and working capital management.

This role requires a strong background in finance, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, and monitor progress against targets.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management, including preparation of financial models and forecasts.
  • Manage daily cash management and treasury activities to ensure positive account balances.
  • Mentor and supervise accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of finance experience in a for-profit business, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with experience in modeling complex business scenarios, budgets, and financial calculations.
  • A demonstrated ability to administer and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective implementation within targeted timelines and costs.
