Bakery Associate

As a Bakery Clerk at Festival Foods, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest receives a memorable experience.

You will assist guests in finding the perfect bakery items, take special orders with precision, and package products with care.

• Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to our guests, assist them in locating specific bakery items, and handle special requests with care.
• Merchandising: Package and price items, maintain quality and minimize waste, replenish bakery products to ensure availability and appealing display standards, and monitor and manage stock levels.
• Food Safety: Ensure product freshness and presentation by rotating stock and removing outdated items, maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, shelves, and the sales floor, and adhere to food safety protocols and maintain accurate records.
• Flexibility: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

• Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
• Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
• Safety Awareness: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.

• Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time)
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis (20% of time)
• Frequently near moving machinery (50% of time)
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of time)
