Multimodal Transportation Safety Expert Lead

At Toole Design, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Transportation Safety Practice. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the development and implementation of strategic visions for safety practice growth.

This role requires at least 15 years of experience in the transportation industry, with expertise in multimodal transportation safety and national leadership in safety for vulnerable road users. A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field is also essential.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of systemic safety analysis, crash modification factors, descriptive crash analysis, and developing strategies that foster a strong safety culture. Experience with proposal writing, grant writing, and business development is also highly valued.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $140,000-$200,000 per year and an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, HSA, FSA, and PTO. You'll work on challenging transportation projects that promote livable communities, leveraging your expertise to create safe systems principles.
