Clean Energy Investment TeamThe Clean Energy team at Capital Dynamics invests in carbon-reducing renewable energy power generation projects, from late-stage development to commercial operations. With a growing footprint in the US, the team aims to achieve enhanced value by de-risking projects and optimizing performance and capital structure.
Investment Associate RoleWe are seeking an Investment Associate to join our US Clean Energy Investment team in Chicago. The successful candidate will be a core member of the investment team, responsible for managing the US portfolio of assets, acquiring new assets, building financial models, conducting due diligence, and liaising with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of current clean energy assets in the US, including the sale process.
- Prepare automated financial models and conduct financial sensitivities.
- Draft investment committee memorandums for investment and disposition decisions.
- Support due diligence and execution processes for acquisitions and divestitures.
- Conduct market analysis and research to support investment decisions.
- Work with the Asset Management team to monitor and optimize investment performance.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or asset management, with a focus on renewables, energy, clean technology, utilities, or power generation investments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills desirable.
