Guest Services Ambassador

At Hyatt Place Augusta, we're seeking a dynamic Guest Services Representative to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role extends beyond the front desk, requiring a proactive and enthusiastic individual who can interact with guests throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out, ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
- Step out from behind the desk to interact with guests, offering assistance with their needs and providing local recommendations.
- Maintain the lobby and public areas by ensuring they are clean, organized, and inviting.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns.
- Support food and beverage service in the Gallery Kitchen, helping maintain an inviting and well-organized environment.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and securely.
- Stay informed of hotel policies, services, and promotions to assist guests with inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable being active and taking on tasks that extend beyond the front desk.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of hotel management systems like Opera PMS is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to contribute to guest satisfaction.
