Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Biological Sciences Professor to join our team at the College of Central Florida's Citrus Campus. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, professional development, college service, service to students and public service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in biology, botany, zoology or related biological science subfields
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and career paths
  • Stay current with advancements in your field through ongoing education and research
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Biology, Botany, Zoology or a related Biological Science subfield or a Doctoral degree in a related field
  • Two years of teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills
  • Commitment to providing instruction for a diverse student population
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on qualifications and experience. The College of Central Florida offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
