Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at ECHN. As a key member of our behavioral health services, you will provide direct and indirect age-appropriate clinical services to individuals in need of substance use and/or psychiatric support.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will report to the Manager and/or Director of the service and work closely with the Medical Director within the department. Key responsibilities include providing crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, team/community collaboration, patient/family education, and triage/discharge planning.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Connecticut licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Level of care and age-specific competencies required.
  • Preferred skills include training and/or familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), knowledge of community-based resources, experience with pre-authorization and billing processes, and non-violent crisis intervention training (CPI).

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
