Sales Engineer and Marketing Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer and Marketing Strategist to join our team at Nesco Resource. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing activities that drive business growth and revenue.
Job DescriptionThis is a key position within our organization, requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting sales efforts to consistently achieve regional sales targets;
- Maintaining existing relationships with major accounts and establishing new connections with potential clients;
- Delivering clear, compelling customer presentations and ensuring pricing proposals are accurate and technically sound;
- Demonstrating strength in selling maintenance, engineering services, and professional services;
- Developing new business opportunities, handling national accounts, and engaging in high-level sales discussions with executives (VP level);
- Providing marketing support to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the industry;
- Implementing monthly area-specific marketing initiatives;
- Supporting corporate needs related to new service assessments, market research, and marketing material development;
- Representing the company in public relations efforts aimed at driving sales;
- Actively participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry associations;
- Delivering effective group presentations for both internal and external audiences;
- Participating as a member of the Area Management Committee;
- Contributing ideas and suggestions for improving sales and marketing strategies;
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSEE/BSME) or equivalent experience;
- A graduate of an electrical technical school or similar program with a minimum of five years of related experience;
- A high school diploma or equivalent with at least eight years of relevant experience;
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and some overnight travel, as required by the sales territory;
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands/fingers for tasks, including working at a computer and conducting site walk-throughs in environments with electrical equipment;
- A valid driver's license.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, based on the level of experience and qualifications required for the role.
