Pathology Specialist Opportunity in Ohio

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pathology Physician to join our team in Portsmouth, OH.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis position requires a Board Certified Pathologist with expertise in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical pathology, with a case load of 40 to 60 surgical cases and 10 Cytology cases.
- Coverage Need: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Staff support: 1 pathologist, 3 histo-techs, 2 tech assts. and 2 cytotechnologists
- Anatomical and Clinical Pathology
- Cytology cases: GI, Breast, Lung, Surg. nephrology, Gen. Path., Minimal hematology, gyn and non gyn peripheral smears only.
- NO NEURO, PEDS, or AUTOPSIES
- Performs own grossing and cuts own frozen sections.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Board Certification in Pathology
- Experience in surgical pathology and cytology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
