About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Examiner to join our team at MRG Exams, specializing in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This role involves reviewing electronic medical records and conducting focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. The examiner will then document exam findings electronically through a web portal.

It is essential to note that the Medical Examiner DOES NOT make disability determinations; this responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.

The position performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average, and requires strong analytical skills to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.

Schedule: Part-Time - 2 days/week

This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills to stay on task and meet requirements.

  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Proficiently use a computer.

  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
About the Opportunity

This opportunity offers the chance to serve the Veteran community while working a set schedule during normal business hours without being on call.

All work is performed in a clinical setting, providing a stable and secure environment.
