Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Planning Development and Natural Resources team in our Tampa office. As a key member of our project team, you'll provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects, preparing design computations and assessments, and producing design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects as part of a project team.
  • Prepares design computations and assessments.
  • Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
  • Reports directly to the Project Manager or Project Engineer leading the design.
  • Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
  • Engage in comprehensive communication and coordination with the Project Manager and design team regarding design issues and project-related calculations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Passed your FE Exam and obtained your EI/EIT.
  • Experience with design of land development projects required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and capable of learning other design software programs as required.
  • Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
  • Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team.
