Observation Lead APP Specialist

At US Acute Care Solutions, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in the acute care setting. As an Observation Lead APP (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner), you will play a vital role in our team, overseeing observation units and ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per yearAs an Observation Lead APP at Northwest Hospital, your primary responsibility will be to lead our observation unit, fostering a culture of excellent patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, collaborating on patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our observation unit, overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular rounds, assessing patient needs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor and educate new staff members, promoting professional development and growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland.
- 3+ years of experience in observation medicine or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
