We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at the Redwood Family Care Network. Your Role: As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing support to program participants that meets their needs, promotes community integration, and creates a nurturing living environment. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each participant receives personalized support, opportunities for growth, and empowerment to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting program participants in daily activities, such as personal hygiene, food preparation, and house cleaning
  • Encouraging community integration through outings and activities tailored to individual interests
  • Providing emotional support, counseling, and problem-solving to promote well-being and independence
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including medication logs, shift notes, and progress reports

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Both written and spoken English language proficiency required
  • Washington State driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required
  • First Aid/CPR certification (training provided)
  • Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) certification (initially at employee's expense)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
