Job Summary

Healing Hands Ministries Inc is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with an obstetric focus to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our CARES-giver team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and annual physicals, vaccinations, well-women exams, and sick visits
  • Treat and educate patients on chronic disease management, family planning services, and preventative care
  • Assist in our mission to provide access to quality family medicine care
  • Perform office-based procedures
  • Work with a diverse, underserved patient population
  • Share expertise and best practices to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • BSN and/or NP from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current RN or NP license to practice in the state of Texas
  • Registered and have current DEA, DPS, and other certificates to operate as a practitioner in Texas or be able to obtain
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Experience providing comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth
  • Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred
  • Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
  • MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Desire to make a positive impact in the community
