The Medicus Firm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fort Smith, AR.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to improve communication, language, and swallowing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy for children with communication disorders.
  • Work closely with families to support treatment goals and provide education on therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • A current Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • At least one year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $53.50-$62.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, a retirement plan, continuing education opportunities, and more.
