Job Summary

The Director Human Resources is a senior Business Partner role responsible for supporting the Supply Chain organization. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with expertise in talent management, leadership development, organizational design, culture, engagement, change management, and employee relations.

The successful candidate will partner with operations leadership to develop and implement strategies that strengthen organizational capabilities, drive business performance, and promote a performance-driven culture.

  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop and implement strategies that support business goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with functional business leaders on driving business initiatives aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Act as an exemplary HR and business role model, leading by example with impeccable standards and high integrity.
  • Provide trusted advice to management and employees on all aspects of employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary action.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that attract, develop, and engage talent in a performance-driven culture.
  • Lead organizational design, talent assessment, and succession initiatives.
  • Educate leaders and build processes ensuring policy and legislative compliance.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with functional leadership through regular coaching and support.
  • Contribute to developing tactics, processes, and policies to drive functional goals.
  • Lead HR-related change initiatives, ensuring employee engagement and support during transition.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

This role requires a forward-thinking leader with proven success in influencing, leading change, and modeling positive behaviors that drive business performance.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Expertise in US and Canadian employment law and compliance.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and resolve issues effectively.
  • Authentic, confident, positive, results-oriented, and highly accountable.
  • Experience in labor relations and positive employee relations.

The salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000, depending on location, experience, and education. Travel is required approximately 25% of the time.
