About the Role

This key position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our properties. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing make-ready repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and conducting routine inspections. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all units are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform make-ready repairs to vacant units in a timely manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, addressing issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas requiring attention and implement necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and other team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with relevant experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, including CFC certification.
  • The ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and residents.
Working Conditions

This position may require working in various weather conditions, exposure to hazardous materials, and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
