Language Instructor

We are seeking a highly experienced Russian language instructor to join our team as a specialist in teaching Russian to government clients. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience teaching Russian as a foreign language to adult learners, with a minimum of 2 students per class. They will also have a strong background in proficiency-based or task-based curricula and experience administering proficiency-based assessments such as the DLPT or OPI exams.
Requirements- Educated native or near-native speaker of Russian (preferably Level 4 or higher on ILR scale)
- Cultural background of Russia by being raised or educated in Russia or by living in an enclave or heritage community in another country
- BA/BS, MA/MS or Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree(s) in any field
The ideal candidate will have experience developing foreign language instructional materials and/or curricula, as well as delivering training targeted to the needs of the diplomatic community. They will be proficient in basic computer skills such as email, Microsoft Office Suite, and online meeting software. Experience with hybrid teaching and educational technologies is also preferred.
BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, company-paid short-term disability insurance, pet insurance, tuition/professional development reimbursement, 401(k), DashPass, PTO, and all federal holidays paid.
