Position Summary

We are currently seeking dedicated scouts to evaluate home games played by collegiate football teams. This role operates independently from the university football team, and inquiries regarding this position should not be directed to them.

Scouts will observe college football games from the stadium while utilizing SIS's proprietary software. Scheduling is flexible, allowing scouts to work based on their availability and game schedules. SIS will provide game tickets and reimburse parking expenses.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals aspiring to build a career in the sports industry. The position is primarily part-time, structured on a pay-per-game basis, with potential for advancement within SIS.

Compensation Structure

• Base pay of $100 per game
• Returning scouts will receive a base pay of $110 per game, defined as those who have scouted at least three games in the previous season.
• Pay increases of $10 per game for each additional game scouted.
• Additional incentives may be earned for:
  • Recruitment efforts
  • Accuracy in reporting
  • Providing extra coverage
  • Working during inclement weather
  • Holiday games
  • Extended travel assignments
  • Auditing game performances

Qualifications

• Dependability, punctuality, and effective communication skills
• Understanding of football strategies and concepts
• Access to a smartphone and proficiency in its operation
• Transportation to the stadium
• Ability to swiftly and accurately gather information throughout the duration of a game
