Field Safety Operations Specialist

This is a full-time position with Alloy Group, requiring significant travel and long hours.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Safety Manager to provide health, safety, environmental support, and training to operational roles within a geographically defined region of Alloy Group.
Essential Functions:
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Support operational roles in developing and implementing safe project execution strategies.
- Provide field-based risk assessment and support.
- Offer risk mitigation technical expertise.
- Conduct and coordinate training.
- Manage incidents.
- Act as liaison during agency inspections and audits.
- Support the Safety Director in implementing organizational initiatives.

Work Environment:
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally to extreme conditions at construction job sites. The role requires walking across rugged terrain, climbing substantial heights, and working over and on water. The noise level can be loud, and the position involves working in outside conditions with inclement weather, heat, humidity, dust, and asphalt.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this job include lifting heavy objects, walking and standing for long periods, and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are required, along with the ability to quickly move arms and legs and have excellent stamina.
Travel Requirements:
This role requires significant travel, up to 70% of the time.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental Science.
- Minimum two years of industry experience.
- Significant field-based experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- A valid state driver's license prior to employment.
- Certified Safety Professional certification or the ability to obtain it.
Salary:$95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
