Job Description

As a Patient Care Tech at Tenet-AZ Region, you will be responsible for providing individualized patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your primary role will involve attending to patients' personal needs, comfort, and well-being. You will also assist nurses with tasks that require less technical expertise and participate in shift and bedside report.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who possess excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique, and infection control best practices are essential requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or valid CNA or PCA/PCT Certificate
  • CPR certification
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting
