Aerospace Painter

Job Summary:

PCX Aerosystems is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in Newington, CT. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying coatings to production and overhaul & repair aircraft parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coating materials to products according to specifications using spray, brush, dip, or other coating process.
• Prepare parts for coating application by cleaning as specified in work instructions or customer data sheet.
• Set up and control paint booth equipment to ensure proper application and curing of coatings.
• Maintain necessary records and files, including the paint logbook.
• Assist operators in a lower classification on coating techniques as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to meet OSHA requirements for respirator use, cleaning and maintenance.
• Must possess a skill level that eliminates errors that cause nonconforming material and maintain a consistent level of high quality work.
• Must work safely at all times and participate in safety improvement initiatives.

Working Conditions:
