Job Description

As a Cook at StoneBridge Health Campus, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes. You will work closely with your team to ensure the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times and follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illness.

Responsibilities

This position involves:

  • Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences;
  • Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents, their families, and visitors.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • 1-2 years of experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in a healthcare setting;
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods;
  • Valid food handler certification (if not already certified, willing to obtain within 30 days of employment).
