Cardiovascular Surgeon Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Hartford Hospital's Cardiac Surgery department.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support patient care from admission to discharge, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical patients, including assessment, documentation, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with consultants and specialists to develop comprehensive plans of care.
- Participate in attending rounds, providing critical input on patient progress and treatment plans.
- Perform invasive procedures, manage emergency situations, and coordinate care with other teams as needed.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible).
- Certification or board-eligibility as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- New graduates welcome to apply; 1+ year experience in cardiac and/or critical care setting preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $**$120,000 - $180,000 per year**, depending on experience.
