Physiotherapy Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Continuum Therapy Partners in Southwest Ohio and Northwest, KY. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our Physical Therapists in delivering exceptional care to patients.
Job Summary
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide direct physical therapy services under the guidance and supervision of licensed therapists.
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Facilitate therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance clients' mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory and organizational guidelines.
- Educate clients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for improving physical function.
- Participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to collaborative care planning.
- Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and team members.
About You
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is not required but preferred; an associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is necessary.
- A state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- A compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to physical therapy practice.
