Audiologist Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams in Norfolk, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Veteran community and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
The ideal candidate will have an Au.D degree from an ASHA-accredited school and be licensed as an Audiologist. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
As an Audiologist Assessment Specialist, you will conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review the veteran's medical records, conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.
You will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices. Instead, you will provide expert assessment and recommendations to support the veteran's claims.
This role involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average. You will have a schedule that includes full-time or part-time positions available, with no evenings, no on-call, and no weekends. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development through our ASHA Learning Pass membership program (CEU).
In addition to your expertise and skills, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
