Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Respiratory Care Unit Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex respiratory and medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient outcomes and improve quality of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months of hire.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working on a rotating shift schedule. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
