Job Summary:

The Grant Manager will serve as a key member of the Biomedical Research Section, responsible for managing multiple biomedical research grants. This includes all aspects of the grant management lifecycle, from application development and submission to post-award execution and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor multiple biomedical research grants, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide technical assistance to grant awardees and points of contact, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Develop and prepare deliverables, agreements, and amendments as required, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Track grant budgets and submit invoices to ensure timely payment, meeting compliance timelines.
  • Maintain good working relationships with grant awardees and points of contact, ensuring close coordination and collaboration.
  • Enter data into tracking logs to meet compliance requirements and accurate reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external entities regarding grants, providing timely and comprehensive information.
  • Assist with special projects and reports as needed, promoting positive working relationships and facilitating ongoing communication and cooperation.
  • Prepare reports and analyses as requested by the supervisor, using data to inform decision making and reporting to Executive Leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or 4 years of administrative experience in a related field.
  • Three years of experience providing quality customer service, communicating with internal and external partners using various tools and methods.
  • Three years of experience administering and managing grants or contracts, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Three years of experience with data entry, analysis, and reporting, using MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise reports and analyses.
