Automotive Warranty Claims Processor

h3Job Description/h3pJackson Kia is seeking an experienced Automotive Warranty Claims Processor to process warranty claims in a timely manner./ppThe ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment./pulliProcess warranty claims for each franchise or distributor./liliVerify criteria required by factory or distributor./liliReconcile all warranty receivables with payments./liliPost credits on computer./liliResubmit rejected claims promptly./liliFollow up on payment of outstanding claims./liliTrack warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed of./liliArrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or to be scrapped./liliFile and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor./liliStay informed of all factory recalls and bulletins./liliAssist with body shop warranty claims as needed./liliAssist with cashier and telephone duties as needed./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals./liliAbility to write routine reports and correspondence./liliAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization./liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations./liliAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals./liliAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./liliAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs./liliOne-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./li/ul
