Highly Skilled CNC Machinist Wanted in Meriden, CT

PrideStaff is seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist to join their team at a reputable machining facility in Meriden, CT.
Job OverviewThis full-time, direct hire position requires an individual with extensive experience operating CNC Machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and utilizing Mastercam and PLC programming for production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining practices and techniques, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Program and operate CNC Machines efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for production purposes
- Demonstrate expertise in machining practices and techniques
- Utilize Mastercam and PLC programming for production
- Maintain high-quality work by making adjustments to machines as needed
- Ensure attention to detail and effective communication with colleagues
- Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and drive for quality results
- Fully comply with all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school in machining preferred but not mandatory
- At least 3+ years of experience in CNC machinist and blueprint reading
- Strong background in PLC and Mastercam programming
- Excellent communication and self-starting skills
- Solidworks or Heidenhain controls are considered a plus
- $29-35+/hr D.O.E.
- Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p
