Orthopedic Physician Assistant Position

Aspire Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at Langley AFB.
Location: Langley AFB, Hampton VA
Department: Orthopedic Surgery
Hours: Monday through Friday, with one rotational weekend a month.
Compensation:
- W2 Rate: $72.00/hour
- CME Reimbursement: $2,000 per year
- PTO: 80 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
- Sick Leave: 56 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
- Federal Holidays Paid
Qualifications:
- Degree/Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Board Certification: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician s Assistants (NCCPA).
- Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
Duties:
- Perform histories and examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and therapy.
- Assist in surgery and perform procedures such as tendon repairs, wound closures, and debridements.
