We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Tech to support our team of passionate patient caregivers. As a Pharmacy Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists with daily tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Retrieving, counting, and measuring drugs
  • Assisting pharmacists with price-checking and restocking of drugs
  • Accessing, inputting, and retrieving prescription information from our computer system
  • Referring physicians' calls and medical questions to our pharmacists

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • National certification (PTCB) preferred

Additional qualifications include knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, general computer skills, effective organizational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality, ability to work closely and professionally with others, and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
