Staff Nurse

Caldwell County Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the effective operation of the nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver consistently high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the nursing unit, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific goals and objectives.
- Provide education and training to new staff members and maintain a safe and supportive work environment.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Kentucky.
- At least six months of experience in a Med/Surg setting, with a preference for one or more years of experience.
The Staff Nurse - RN-PRN Med/Surg will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and varying shifts. The position requires the ability to lift patients and equipment, as well as work in a team-oriented setting.
