About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team at MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain LLC.
Job Summary
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing the payroll cycle workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly expatriate payrolls. This includes maintaining employee payroll records, verifying timesheets and clock data, creating and analyzing attendance audit reports, and providing customized reports to headquarters and other departments as requested.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll cycle workflow to ensure all transactions are processed and reconciled.
- Process timely and accurate weekly, bi-weekly payroll and monthly expatriate payroll.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including wages, tax withholdings, and direct deposit bank information.
- Verify timesheets and clock data to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and processing rules.
- Create and analyze attendance audit reports to identify and correct payroll discrepancies before processing.
- Provide customized reports to headquarters, finance, and production departments as requested.
- Perform accounting reconciliations, process returned funds, and manage ACH rejects.
- Support new hires in completing required state and federal forms as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An associates degree or bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledge of state and federal payroll laws and deadline requirements.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
