Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead our pursuit of excellence in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops to engage the workforce in implementing and institutionalizing one-piece flowlines.

• Utilize continuous improvement tools to support manufacturing processes and flow lines.

• Research and implement right-sized solutions for quality and process improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operators, Engineers, Leads, Quality, EH&S, and Pursuit KPO.

• Develop and modify machinery or devices that adhere to Pursuit's Universal No's, ensuring operator and part safety.

• Support the Pursuit Tiered Review Process and provide creative, innovative solutions.

• Basic blueprint reading and interpretation, as well as basic design and fabrication skills.

• Travel to other Pursuit sites to participate and lead Kaizen workshops.

• Cover for the Site KPO leader when necessary.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.

• Strong passion for Kaizen and a servant leader mindset.

• Understanding of mechanical components and machine design.

• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.

Desired Characteristics:

• Manufacturing and/or operation experience preferred.

• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and adaptability.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

• Continuous improvement knowledge and experience preferred.

• Familiarity with aerospace component manufacturing requirements, including fabrications, machining, laser technology, welding, coatings, and heat treatment.

Physical Demands:

• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.

• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
