Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases. Your expertise will be essential in performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation and coordinating patient flow. You will work closely with our team to maintain procedure quality control and ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Venipuncture certification in CA and HI.
