Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer - Site Development Specialist to join our team at Geotechnical Engineering Testing, Inc. (GET). As a key member of our geotechnical engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing field investigations and testing, reviewing soil laboratory test results, and performing analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement effective geotechnical solutions, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field investigations and testing, including site visits and data collection
- Review and analyze soil laboratory test results to inform geotechnical designs
- Develop and implement geotechnical designs for shallow and deep foundations
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer registration or ability to register in Southeastern US states
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with 3 years of professional engineering experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and client management skills
