Job Summary:

The Culinary Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the kitchen area, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes managing staff, maintaining budgets, and ensuring that all food handling and preparation techniques are in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and cultivate a high-performing team to meet production requirements and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Conduct temperature checks and ensure that food is prepared and held at the correct temperatures.
Assist in implementing and following up on sanitation cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas and equipment.
Complete and submit weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
Conduct weekly meetings for all kitchen staff to discuss issues and provide feedback.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of high-volume food service management experience required.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
